This Privacy Policy governs the treatment of personal data of users collected in the context of the use of the Fishing in Portugal Application by Fluviário de Mora and the University of Évora and reflects their respective institutional concerns about privacy and treatment of personal data of users.

1. Data collection and treatment

Fluviário de Mora and the University of Évora, whose teams are responsible for the maintenance of the contents of this Application, are the entities responsible for the treatment of the Users’ data. These data will not be supplied to third parties.

The access and use in general of the Application imply the provision of personal data, being these data treated exclusively in the terms and for the purposes described.

The personal data necessary to the use of the Application are the user’s name and e-mail contact. Fluviário de Mora and the University of Évora also collect, through Google Analytics, the following data:

The data will be kept as long as they are necessary to keep register of the involved Users.

2. Personal data treatment

Fluviário de Mora and the University of Évora treat personal data for the purposes of meeting the needs of using the Application. In the context of the LIFE Águeda project (LIFE16 ENV/PT/000411), the location data of captures voluntarily entered by users will be subject to processing for monitoring and management of the distribution of populations of fish species.

You may, at any time, withdraw your consent for the data processing indicated in the previous paragraph.

Legal

The legal basis for the processing of your data is the management and response to the information provided/requested by the interested User.

3. Communication of personal data

Fluviário de Mora and the University of Évora will not transmit Users’ personal data to third parties.

Under the terms of the applicable legislation, you can request, at any time, access to your personal data, as well as its rectification, elimination or limitation of its processing. 5. Complaints

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, the User has the right to submit a complaint to the National Commission for Data Protection or other competent control authority under the law, if he/she believes that the processing of his/her data by Fluviário de Mora and the University of Évora violates the legal regime in place at any given time.
